Servant Leader, Naval Reserve Officer, Merchant Mariner, Former Collegiate Athlete and Entrepreneur, Mark Thompson is a highly sought after speaker. Since 2017 professionals, athletic teams, faith based groups and people all over have benefited from his thought provoking and motivational presentations.

After graduating High School, Mark attended the New Mexico Military Institute for a year before moving on to the United States Merchant Marine Academy due to coming up short on the SAT during his initial application process to the Academy.

During his time at the Academy, Mark played division three college football, took on leadership positions in the regiment, helped build leadership development programs, presented speeches and sailed on multiple vessels visiting Guam, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Diego Garcia and Bahrain.

Since graduating, Mark has worked at General Dynamics NASSCO Shipyard, sailed a container ship through the 2nd busiest shipping lane in the world (Straits of Malacca), Coached High School Football, served annual Naval Reserve Officer duties, and is presently working on vessels contracted to support the offshore energy sector.
